False Rumours

I guess everyone knows Jung Joon young's sex scandal, If you didn't know, South Korean police arrested K-pop singer Jung Joon-young over allegations that he illegally shared sexually explicit videos of women taken without their knowledge or consent.



Because of this several K-Pop idols and celebrities have been wrongfully dragged in to the mess as malicious rumours continue to plague the K-Pop community. The respective agencies of these stars have been busy issuing warnings to everyone who may be spreading false rumours as it may damage their artists’ reputation and honour.

TWICE were also linked to the controversy by malicious netizens who meant to harm the girls’ image. Some malicious netizens wrote that a TWICE member was one of the girls in a video shared in the chatroom's. There was allegedly a video of a famous girl group member that was shared in the chatroom's.

JYP Entertainment was made aware of the serious defamatory rumours immediately and swung into action. They released a statement promising strict legal actions against anyone who spread those rumours since it can harm the girls’ images, honour, and character.

Twice is not linked to the chatroom in any in any way. TWICE fans (ONCE) were extremely furious with the allegations relating to their favourite groups. Reading JYP statements, fans (ONCE) became happy to see that both agencies shut down the rumours immediately and will take legal action against online trolls and haters.

Not only TWICE but other idols who previously interacted with Jung Joon Young is being linked to this.
